Description
Heritage Flax, linen left natural
Heritage Flax is organic washed linen at 190 grams per square metre, soft from the first night and more agreeable with each wash. At night, flax works as a moisture buffer: it takes up perspiration and releases it quickly, so the bed feels dry by morning. In summer it stays cool, and in winter it holds warmth. Libeco finishes the unbleached linen purely mechanically, which makes it gentle on the skin and less inclined to crease. Besides Flax, the Heritage line also comes in ash, oyster and white. All four shades belong to the Libeco bed linen collection.

Care
Natural Heritage Flax tolerates up to 60 degrees, and the white version up to 95. Still, gentler washing extends the life of any linen. Avoid optical brighteners in particular, because they bleach the natural tone that defines this cloth. Leave the drum half empty. Choose a short, light spin, so the linen keeps enough moisture to resist creasing. For ironing, a hot setting on slightly damp fabric works best. Air drying beats the tumble dryer, which can shrink linen through overdrying.
