The magnolia blooms before it bears leaves \u2013 a botanical spectacle captured by Magnolia in multicolored jacquard weaving. Four finishing styles \u2013 one standard<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Every Seidenweber bedding is available in four versions that differ in the type of finishing. Basic<\/strong> stands for simple, clean finishing without additional details. Classic<\/strong> adds a fine piping along the edges \u2013 a subtle feature that gives the cover contour. Elegance<\/strong> features a stitched standing seam that gives the fabric structure and presence. Superior<\/strong> represents the highest level: an inset standing seam that frames the bedding. The choice of finish does not change the fabric, but the way it presents itself. <\/p>\n

Silk – the queen of fabrics<\/h3>\n

Silk is certainly one of the oldest textile fibers, yet it has never been as current and modern as it is today. The culture of silk has accompanied humanity for thousands of years, and this queen of fibers cannot be replaced by anything in modern times. There is the unique feel, the sense of well-being that silk creates on our skin. The organic structure of silk is almost uncannily similar to the structure of human skin. Silk lets the skin breathe, silk stimulates the receptors on our skin. That’s why it’s cool in summer and wonderfully warm in winter. And silk is a blessing \u2013 not only for people with neurodermatitis. <\/p>\n

The weaving mill – the last of its kind<\/h3>\n

Silk has been woven in Plauen, Saxony, since the days of the German Empire. The Plauen silk weaving mill is one of the last fully integrated manufactories in Europe \u2013 and the last that truly masters the weaving of silk in jacquard patterns. Floral ornaments, paisley designs, baroque structures: what is created here is woven, not printed. The difference lies in the depth. Woven patterns live with the light, they change, they have substance. Almost a century of experience is contained in every piece \u2013 knowledge that has been passed from hand to hand and is preserved in the fabric itself. Those who touch Seidenweber bedding touch this history. <\/p>\n

Care Instructions<\/h3>\n

Silk items should be washed separately, inside out if possible, in the delicate cycle without additional load, at 30 degrees with recommended silk detergents such as Tenestar. Silk or silk blends are not suitable for dryers and mangles. When drying outdoors, do not expose silk items to direct sunlight. Silk laundry can be ironed slightly damp at a maximum of 110 degrees.
\n– Never spray silk with perfume or deodorant
\n– Do not wash silk with bleach
\n– Do not wet silk with water when ironing
\n– Do not rub individual stains with water, wash the entire item instead
\n– Please iron silk from the reverse side
\n– Do not wring silk <\/p>\n

Silk products can be cleaned by hand washing without damaging the silk. It is best to use a mild soap or a special silk shampoo such as Tenestar. Soak the silk for approximately 3-5 minutes in lukewarm water.
\nWash dark silk or printed silk only briefly in cold hand bath, please do not soak. It is recommended to move the fabric only gently back and forth during this time.
\nRemove the silk from the water after max. 5 minutes. Rinse the silk with cold water together with a teaspoon of wine vinegar to remove any soap residue. Then roll the silk in a dry towel to draw the remaining liquid from the fabric. For dark or printed silk, you should use the towel in multiple layers. Afterwards, please lay the silk flat and gently straighten the corners. <\/p>\n

Silk should always be ironed slightly damp and inside out. Do not iron the silk too hot. Silk is an organic material, a protein compound – similar to our hair. Too much heat only causes damage. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
