Colored linen can be washed up to 60\u00b0, white up to 95\u00b0. As with all materials, it will last longer if washed at a lower temperature. Avoid detergents with optical brighteners – they bleach out the natural colors. Linen needs sufficient residual moisture so that it does not crease too much. Do not overfill the machine and do not spin too hard. If you want to iron linen, iron it on the hot setting when it is still slightly damp. Or: not at all.
