As with all materials, linen will last longer if washed at a lower temperature. What linen does not tolerate are detergents with optical brighteners, they bleach out the natural colors and the fabric becomes light.<br id=\"mf280\"\/>Linen needs sufficient residual moisture so that it does not crease. Do not overload the machine so that the fabric can move, do not spin linen too hard or for too long.
