“Propriano Linen Coverlet and Cushion by Libeco”<\/h2>\n

The Propriano Linen Coverlet and Cushion by Libeco takes you to Corsica. A magnificent island with rugged nature, breathtaking beaches and otherworldly colours. The inspiration comes naturally from the facades of Bonifacio, in magnificent hues bleached by the ever-present sun. Not only the colours, but also the cosy, artistic atmosphere found there is reflected in this collection.
\nThe unusual name was borrowed from a coastal town in the south of Corsica. Propriano is the perfect collection for a summery bed! The eggshell-coloured bedspread is seamed in the centre and features asymmetric stripes on each half in a splendid decorative yarn. The matching eggshell-coloured cushion has a wide stripe in the centre with decorative yarn on each side.<\/p>\n

European Organic Linen<\/h3>\n

Linen bed linen lets your skin breathe better. When it comes to our skin, linen is the perfect fabric. Thanks to its long, smooth fibres, linen absorbs a great deal of moisture and repels dirt. Linen is an intelligent fabric because it regulates temperature. Linen provides pleasant coolness in summer and cosy warmth in winter. The long linen fibres ensure that linen bed linen stays fresh much longer. The linen fabric has been treated purely mechanically, making it very supple and kind to the skin. Linen treated in this way creases less while preserving its natural quality and all the advantages of linen. Libeco is committed to organic linen and uncompromising sustainability in every step of production, and the creation of GOTS-certified linen bed linen in the Heritage collection was a logical next step.<\/p>\n

The Weaving Mill<\/h3>\n

Libeco<\/a> received the accolade of the Belgian Royal House in 2006: “Belgian Royal Warrant Holder” is the impressive recognition of the quality of these textiles. The “Belgian Linen” quality seal guarantees a quality product made according to the highest standards of sustainable business. All fabrics by Libeco carry the coveted “Masters of Linen” label. This guarantees that the fabrics have been tested to the extremely high requirements of this master class and that they are produced exclusively in Europe. “Eco Line” and “Oeko-Tex” provide the assurance that Libeco fabrics are free from harmful substances and have not been treated with chemicals, bleached or dyed.<\/p>\n

Care<\/h3>\n

Coloured linen can be washed at up to 60\u00b0C, white linen at up to 95\u00b0C. As with all materials, the same applies to linen: washing at lower temperatures extends its life. Linen does not tolerate detergents with optical brighteners, as they strongly bleach the natural colours and the fabric becomes pale. Creasing: linen needs sufficient residual moisture to prevent excessive creasing. Do not overload the machine so the fabric can move freely, and do not spin linen too hard or too long. If you wish to iron linen, iron the pieces on the hot linen setting of your iron while they are still slightly damp. Even if it is convenient, avoid tumble-drying linen.
