“Oscar Linen-Wool Mix by Libeco”<\/h2>\n

The Oscar Linen-Wool Mix by Libeco is inspired by the industrial style of La Brugeoise. The designer says: “La Brugeoise has existed since 1818 and retains its original pre-war grandeur, only 40 km from us. La Brugeoise is a true beauty and we are happy to spend a few days here taking photos for our collection with our lovely model Ira. La Brugeoise was originally the largest ironworks in Belgium and later one of the most important international producers of railway carriages and track materials. The site is no longer used as a production facility, but if you browse through the photos, you will get an impression of what this gem once was.”
\n“This collection of linen-wool plaids and cushions is lighter than the decorative linen-wool bedspreads but possesses just as much body and structure. These plaids have no seams. They feature a selvedge on the sides and a fringed hem at the top and bottom. The cushions are fitted with a decorative weave detail and zip. It really is a must-have collection! Oscar: beeswax stripes on a black ground.”<\/p>\n

Linen treated in this way creases less while preserving its natural quality and all the advantages of linen. The Weaving Mill<\/h3>\n

Libeco<\/a> received the accolade of the Belgian Royal House in 2006: “Belgian Royal Warrant Holder” is the impressive recognition of the quality of these textiles. Care<\/h3>\n

Coloured linen can be washed at up to 60\u00b0C, white linen at up to 95\u00b0C. As with all materials, the same applies to linen: washing at lower temperatures extends its life. Linen does not tolerate detergents with optical brighteners, as they strongly bleach the natural colours and the fabric becomes pale. Creasing: linen needs sufficient residual moisture to prevent excessive creasing. Do not overload the machine so the fabric can move freely, and do not spin linen too hard or too long. If you wish to iron linen, iron the pieces on the hot linen setting of your iron while they are still slightly damp. Even if it is convenient, avoid tumble-drying linen.
