Description
“Miriam Pure Linen Bedding by Schlitzer Leinen”
Miriam is pure linen in a deep, decisive grey. Not an indecisive medium grey, but a grey with character. Anthracite with warmth. Dark enough for contrast, warm enough for comfort. For those who know what they want.
European organic linen
Linen bedding lets your skin breathe better. When it comes to your skin, linen is the perfect fabric. Thanks to its long, smooth fibres, linen absorbs a lot of moisture and repels dirt. Linen is an intelligent fabric because it balances temperatures. Linen provides pleasant coolness in summer and cosy warmth in winter.
The long linen fibres ensure that linen bedding stays fresh for much longer. The linen fabric has been treated purely mechanically and is therefore very supple and skin-friendly. Linen treated this way wrinkles less while retaining its natural character and all the benefits of linen. Geniksa is deeply committed to organic linen and uncompromising sustainability at every step of production. Geniksa linen bedding is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
The Weaving Mill
Schlitzer Leinen has been weaving since 1933 in the Hessian town of Schlitz—founded in the year of the World’s Fair “A Century of Progress”. Today, it is the last true linen weaving mill in town, family-run in the third generation. European flax, processed in Germany, each roll of fabric individually inspected. Masters of Linen quality. Made in Europe, from start to finish.
For a sheet, we recommend the fine linen flat sheets and fitted sheets by Schlitzer Leinen.

Care Instructions
Coloured linen can be washed up to 60°C, white up to 95°C. As with all materials: washing at lower temperatures makes it last longer. Avoid detergents with optical brighteners—they bleach out natural colours. Linen needs sufficient residual moisture so it does not wrinkle heavily. Do not overfill the machine and do not spin too hard. If you want to iron linen, use the hot setting while it is still slightly damp. Or: not at all. The natural crinkle look is part of linen.
