Description
“Jeju Gardens pure linen bed linen from Leitner Leinen”
Jeju Gardens – a tribute to the Korean volcanic island of Jeju, where a mild climate allows a unique plant world to flourish. This design tells of the eternal cycle of the seasons in floral allegory: the magnolia welcomes spring with delicate pink blossoms, a symbol of purity. In summer, the lotus unfurls over still waters, symbolizing enlightenment. The chrysanthemum glows in golden tones in the fall, a sign of longevity in Asian tradition. The camellia defies winter with its elegant blossom, the embodiment of constancy. The lily permeates all seasons with classic elegance. What has been cultivated in the gardens of East Asia for centuries finds its way into textile art here – each blossom botanically precise, yet artistically composed. The jacquard technique makes the petals stand out vividly, stems and leaves interweave to create harmonious compositions. Jeju Gardens transforms your bedroom into a place where Eastern garden philosophy meets European linen culture and the changing seasons become timeless beauty.
The benefits of European organic linen
Linen connects cultures and continents – a material that is just as valued in Europe as it is in Asia, where fine textiles have been part of the art of living for thousands of years. The long fibres of European flax create a fabric of exceptional quality that harmonizes perfectly with the aesthetics of Far Eastern garden art. Linen has a cooling effect on warm summer nights and provides warmth on cool winter nights – a natural adaptability that reflects the design’s seasonal cycle. The fiber organically regulates moisture, absorbing it and releasing it again in a controlled manner. These breathable properties are due to the hollow structure of the flax fiber. Linen is naturally antistatic and kind to the skin – ideal for restful sleep. With every wash, the fiber becomes finer and smoother, while retaining its characteristic structure. Leitner only uses organic linen from certified European cultivation – naturally cultivated, mechanically refined and free from harmful substances.
The Leitner weaving mill – a manufactory since 1853
In the Upper Austrian Mühlviertel region, where tradition and innovation come together, Leitner Leitner has been refining textile craftsmanship for over 170 years. While garden design has been perfected over thousands of years in East Asia, Europe has developed its own mastery: linen weaving. Both traditions are combined in designs such as Jeju Gardens. Weaving develops historical patterns with a contemporary flair. Designers work closely with the master weavers. The complexity is particularly evident in floral patterns with botanical precision such as Jeju Gardens: every petal, every stem must be precisely implemented in the jacquard weave for the composition to unfold its effect. The manufactory combines manageable structures with state-of-the-art weaving technology. No mass products are created here, but carefully crafted collections with international standards. As a manufactory, Leitner can react flexibly to individual requests: Special sizes for special bed dimensions can be realized. Every comforter cover and every pillowcase carries the awareness of quality that should last – for generations.

Caring for your linen bedding
Linen bed linen becomes smoother and more supple with every wash. Colored linen can withstand temperatures up to 60°, white bed linen up to 95°. For regular use, 40-60° is perfectly adequate and is gentle on the fibers. Important: Do not use detergents with optical brighteners – these can affect the nuanced colors of the design. The natural crease structure of linen is an expression of its authenticity and is part of the material. For a smoother fall, we recommend: Do not overfill the washing machine, reduce the spin cycle to 800-1000 revolutions, shake out the laundry immediately after washing. If necessary, you can iron at the highest ironing setting, preferably with light residual moisture. You should not use a tumble dryer: Air drying is gentler on the fibres, preserves the brilliance of the colors and extends the life of your bed linen by years.
