Description
“Mariage pure linen bed linen from Leitner Leinen”
Mariage – the marriage, the connection, the harmonious interplay. The name says it all: artistic craftsmanship and timeless aesthetics combine to create a masterpiece of linen weaving. This design blends Renaissance elegance with modern weaving, oriental ornamentation with European sophistication. The playful tendril pattern tells of an era of explorers and visionaries – a time when Elizabeth I ruled Europe and cultural exchange with the Orient brought new impetus. Fine arabesques dance across the fabric, artfully contoured tendrils twine in symmetrical harmony. The result: a pattern that is both opulent and understatedly elegant. The color palette with nine curated shades – from delicate sakura to earthy terra to arctic blue – transforms every bedroom into a place of timeless beauty.
The advantages of European organic linen
Linen is much more than just a fabric – it is an intelligent natural material for restful sleep. The long, smooth fibers of the flax plant make linen skin-friendly and exceptionally comfortable. Linen is excellent at absorbing moisture and wicks it away quickly – ideal for a healthy sleeping climate. This natural climate regulation keeps you cool on summer nights and warm in winter. Linen adapts to your needs, all year round. The robustness of the linen fibers guarantees longevity so that you can enjoy your bed linen for many years. The purely mechanical treatment preserves the natural beauty and velvety soft feel. Leitner Leinen is committed to organic cultivation and uncompromising sustainability.
The tradition of linen weaving Leitner
There are crafts that have survived the centuries thanks to their timeless significance – linen weaving is one of them. The Leitner family in Ulrichsberg has been dedicated to the fine art of linen weaving since 1853. In the Austrian Mühlviertel, on the edge of the Bohemian Forest, bed linen is produced here that combines tradition and modernity. Through consistent development work and cooperation with international designers, the weaving mill has developed into a recognized manufactory. Leitner is now at home at the world’s most important trade fairs – from Paris to Milan to New York – yet has remained true to its roots. Unadulterated identity and perfect craftsmanship form the foundation of this brand. As a manufactory, Leitner can respond to individual customer wishes. Every creation bears the Leitner DNA: contemporary and original at the same time, created for generations.

Linen bed linen care
Linen bed linen is easy to care for and becomes softer with every wash. Colored linen can be washed at up to 60°, white bed linen can withstand 95°. For maximum durability, we recommend washing at 40-60°. Important: Do not use detergents with optical brighteners, as these will bleach out the natural color nuances. The light, natural creased look is part of the authentic charm of linen bed linen. If you prefer smoother bed linen: Do not overfill the machine and select moderate spin speeds (800-1000 rpm). Iron on a high temperature setting if necessary, ideally when the bed linen is still slightly damp. Do not use a tumble dryer – air drying preserves the quality.
