The Silk Dream Summer Duvet by HEFEL is a smooth, light midsummer night’s dream of pure silk. Wild silk, with its naturally cooling character, is the perfect filling for this summer duvet. The special silk comes from the free-living oak silkworm. During the production of Pure Silk, the raw silk is boiled and degummed several times. This is essential to prevent skin irritation and to completely remove all sericin residues. Despite its delicacy, the resulting silk fleece is very durable, partly because it is expertly quilted. Through its rapid moisture transport, the high-quality fabric of 100% cotton fine sateen with aloe vera finish contributes to the cooling of the silk and radiates in a stylish natural sheen.
