Description
“White linen tablecloth with framed hem from Hoffmann”
Linen tablecloth, runner and napkins of the absolute top class
Tablecloth made of white linen with framed hem from Hoffmann. A festive table is characterized by elegance and style, and linen knows how to match every degree of festivity. These tablecloths, napkins and table runners from Leinenweberei Hoffmann are made of extra strong linen weighing 205 grams per square meter. Linen table linen from Leinenweberei Hoffmann has graced the dining rooms and first class cabins of the Lusitania and the Titanic, the guest rooms and suites of the Adlon and the Ritz. This linen has a quality that is practically unheard of. While the general trend is towards ever finer and thinner yarns, the Hoffmann company works with a yarn thickness that our grandmothers knew from the best dowry textiles. Anyone who has inherited something like this knows how long this quality lasts.
Tablecloths made from European organic linen
With their unique look, linen tablecloths complement any tableware and table decorations, whether the table is set for 2 or 20 people. Linen tablecloths are the first choice for a festive table. The heavy fabric lies smoothly on the table surface and has an extremely elegant drape on the sides. Linen tablecloths and table runners combine wonderfully in muted colors or, of course, in classic white. Linen tablecloths are very resistant to stains. The smooth and dense fibers repel dirt and are easy to clean. The purely mechanically treated fabric for tablecloths and table runners made from European organic linen is very pleasant to the touch and also impresses with its unconditional sustainability, which is certified by the Oeko Tex Standard 100. Organic linen napkins and table runners round off the perfect table setting for a festive or everyday occasion.
The Weaving Mill
Linen table linen from the Hoffmann linen weaving mill has already adorned the dining rooms and luxury cabins of the large ocean liners Queen Mary and Andrea Doria, the dining rooms and suites of the Waldorf Astoria and the Atlantic. Flax has been grown in Upper Lusatia, the triangle of land between Saxony, Bohemia and Silesia, for centuries. It has been used to produce all kinds of linen, from coarse sacking to the finest linen damask. Today, the Hoffmann linen weaving mill is one of the few German weaving mills still in operation, which cultivates old craftsmanship and makes quality its top priority.

Care Instructions
Colored linen can be washed up to 60°, white up to 95°. As with all materials, linen will last longer if washed at a lower temperature. What linen does not tolerate are detergents with optical brighteners, they bleach out the natural colors and the fabric becomes light.
Linen needs sufficient residual moisture so that it does not crease. Do not overload the machine so that the fabric can move, do not spin linen too hard or for too long. If you want to iron linen, iron the items on the hot linen temperature setting of your iron when they are still a little damp.
