Description

“Parma Red – pure linen for the kitchen from Libeco”

Parma Red – pure linen for the kitchen by Libeco – pretty cool with a stonewash look … This is what the designer says: “Parma is a beautiful city on the southern edge of the Po Valley at the foot of the Apennines. Romanesque Building decorate the City center, including the Dome from Parma with Frescoes and the pink Marble baptistery. Your famous Specialties are the cheese, Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, of course. And now this equally beautiful cloth. What better way to show off the city’s specialties in the kitchen than with a real linen cloth.”

Kitchen towels made from organic linen

Kitchen towels made of linen or half-linen have had a remarkable career in German gastronomy. Initially, however, they were an integral part of every miner’s equipment. Today, kitchen towels made from organic linen can be found in more and more households. Their properties are simply impressive. Dirt-repellent, quick-drying, anti-allergenic and antibacterial. In the classic small check pattern, black and white or blue and white, as well as in the typical muted plain linen colors, kitchen towels made from organic linen are reliable and long-lasting helpers in every kitchen. Their numerous advantages naturally include their environmental friendliness and sustainability. Organic flax is grown entirely without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The strong and very dense flax fibers make kitchen towels made from organic linen extremely durable kitchen helpers that are also becoming more and more beautiful. We guarantee this through the GOTS standard, which certifies our kitchen towels made from European organic linen.

This guarantees that the fabrics have been tested to meet the extremely high requirements of this master class and that they are manufactured exclusively in Europe. “Eco Line” and “Oeko-Tex” provide the assurance that Libeco fabrics are free from harmful substances and that they have not been treated, bleached or dyed with chemicals.

Care Instructions

Colored linen can be washed up to 60°, white up to 95°. As with all materials, linen will last longer if washed at a lower temperature. What linen does not tolerate are detergents with optical brighteners, they bleach out the natural colors and the fabric becomes light Wrinkling: Linen needs sufficient residual moisture so that it does not wrinkle so much. Do not overload the machine so that the fabric can move, do not spin linen too hard or for too long. If you want to iron linen, iron the garments on the hot setting of your iron when they are still a little damp. Even if it is convenient: avoid drying linen in the dryer. Overdrying can cause it to shrink
