Description
“Calistoga Linen Bath Rug by Libeco”
Calistoga Linen Bath Rug by Libeco is simply the best for your bathroom. The designer says: “The high-quality bath rug consists of 40% fine cotton and 60% Belgian linen. Due to the natural properties of linen and cotton, the voluminous loops absorb water, giving the feet vitalising impulses. Linen is a truly extraordinary natural fibre. The production of Calistoga in Belgium is CO2-neutral and sustainable.”
Rugs made from organic linen
Walking barefoot over a rug made from organic linen is a whole new experience of comfort. Using the classic plain weave technique, we employ yarns made from flax fibres. This makes rugs from organic linen truly special floor coverings. The strong and resilient linen fibre makes the rug very hard-wearing and creates a warming air cushion. Not only in terms of environmental friendliness and sustainability are rugs from organic linen unbeatable. They are also dirt-repellent, hypoallergenic and antibacterial. The organic linen used is grown in Europe. Rugs from organic linen not only feel very pleasant underfoot – whether barefoot, in socks or with shoes – they also give a clear conscience, as our rugs are certified by the GOTS standard.

Care Instructions
Coloured linen is best washed at up to 60°C, white at up to 95°C. As with all materials, the same applies to linen: washing at lower temperatures extends its life. What linen cannot tolerate are detergents with optical brighteners – they bleach out the natural colours significantly and the fabric becomes pale. Creasing: linen needs sufficient residual moisture so that it does not crease too much. Do not overload the machine so that the fabric can move freely, and do not spin linen laundry too hard or too long. If you wish to iron linen, iron the pieces on the hot linen setting of your iron while they are still slightly damp. Even though it may be convenient: avoid drying linen in the tumble dryer. Over-drying can cause shrinkage.
