Sisco stripes in washed linen

Sisco is 100 per cent washed linen of 175 grams per square metre, a medium weight that suits every season. The fabric breathes, so it cools on summer nights and still warms gently once autumn arrives. Long, smooth flax fibres absorb plenty of moisture and shed dirt, therefore the bed keeps its freshness for longer. Libeco treats the cloth by purely mechanical means. As a result it feels soft on the skin and creases less, while losing nothing of its natural character. The rippled stripes, moreover, grow livelier the more you use them. Sisco takes its place among the plain and patterned designs of the Libeco bed linen collection.

Care

Sisco tolerates a wash of 60 degrees at most, whereas pure white linen would accept 95. Still, the cooler programme serves the stripes better over the years. Pick a detergent free of optical brighteners, since such agents fade natural tones until the fabric looks washed out. A half-full drum lets the cloth move. Spin it gently and not for long, because damp linen creases less. Iron at the hot linen setting while a little moisture remains. And however tempting it seems, keep Sisco out of the tumble dryer, as over-drying can shrink it.
