Cotton bed linen 155x220 fits single beds from 100 to 140 cm wide. On a 100 cm bed, the duvet overhangs 27 cm per side — significantly more generous than a 135x200 on the same bed.
Two reasons to choose this size: first, body height — anyone over 185 cm regularly pulls a 200 cm duvet off their feet at night. 220 cm solves that. Second, sleep behaviour — restless sleepers benefit from the extra 20 cm width.
On a double bed from 160 cm, two 155x220 duvets work as a pair set — more fabric per person than the standard pair set with 2x 135x200.
