The Real Stuff

Linen Magazine

Linen Magazine is all about the real thing – linen from the finest European manufacturers.

There’s more to say about linen than can fit on a label.

And Linen Magazine does just that — through stories about craftsmanship, heritage and the quiet art of creating a fabric that gets better with age.

The Linen Lounge. Anything but ordinary

Linen fascinates us. As the oldest cultivated plant used by humans to create fabrics, it possesses incomparable properties and is more versatile than any other material. Linen absorbs moisture and perspiration much faster than any other fabric—and releases it just as quickly. Linen is antibacterial and free of allergens. Due to the long-fiber structure of the flax from which it is spun, it also takes on color like no other fabric. The fact that linen today only plays a role for a few connoisseurs is due to one reason, like many other things: it was displaced by cheap, industrially manufactured cotton.
