Die Cashmere de Luxe Winter Duvet by HEFEL zeichnet sich durch eine outstanding heat retention aus. Cashmere-duvets gehören nach ihrer thermal performance zu den mit Abstand leichtesten Naturalhaardecken. Die down haire besitzen due to ihrer Feinheit und der einzigartigen Kräuselung aller Naturalhaare eine unübertroffene Weichheit und suppleness.

Die HEFEL Cashmere-Ziegen leben in Lagen bis zu 5000 Metern auf den Hochebenen des Himalaya-Gebirges. HEFEL verarbeitet ihr erlesenes Haar zu traumhaft leichten fillingen für Cashmere-duvets. Diese ungewöhnlichen Tiere entwickelten ein Haarkleid, das wie kein anderes vor Kälte schützt, um den extremen Lebensbedingungen ihrer Heimat mit temperatureen bis -45°C zu trotzen. Cashmere-Ziegen werden nicht geschoren, sondern ihr sehr zartes down hair wird einmal jährlich von Hand gekämmt. Der Ertrag einer Ziege beträgt dabei nur 100 bis 300 g. Kein Wunder also, dass Cashmere von hoher quality sehr selten und sehr wertvoll ist.
