Cashmere de Luxe Winter Duvet by HEFEL
The Cashmere de Luxe winter duvet from HEFEL holds 70 per cent hand-combed Himalayan cashmere, from goats that live at altitudes of up to 5000 metres. At 535 grams per square metre it warms luxuriously, yet its weight stays astonishingly low. TENCEL fine sateen carries moisture away, so the duvet feels dry despite all that warmth. Few things in a bedroom say so little and give so much. Within the range, it is the warmest natural-hair luxury.

Rare cashmere, patient hands
Nobody shears a cashmere goat. Instead, once a year, hands comb out its fine down, and the yield per animal stays small. HEFEL turns this rare fibre into a filling in Austria, as a family business with generations of experience behind it. Each duvet comes into being piece by piece, because the workshop lets none leave without inspection. The BodyFit quilting then shapes it to the body, so cold zones have no chance. Austrian bedding craft thus reaches the bedroom in a precious form, quiet and very light.

Description

Cashmere de Luxe, hand-combed warmth

Each goat gives only 100 to 300 grams of down a year, which explains why hand-combed cashmere stays so rare. The remaining 30 per cent of the filling is virgin wool, a natural partner for the cashmere. On cold nights Cashmere de Luxe keeps the warmth in, while the filling regulates moisture. Its cover wraps it kindly and leads moisture away from the body. Such warmth gives a sense of being held, so sleep under this Himalayan cashmere duvet comes deep. HEFEL has had the duvet dermatologically tested, and it also suits sensitive skin. Made to last, it stays a faithful presence through the cold season. It belongs to the HEFEL winter duvet selection.

Care

Fresh air is what Cashmere de Luxe needs most, since the fine hair regenerates there and stays free of odour. You can spare it frequent washing, because airing usually suffices. A spot of dirt rarely calls for more than local cleaning, so the cashmere keeps its beauty for years. As the climate under it stays dry, sensitive skin feels at ease too. Thus the duvet carries you warmly through the winter, night after night.
