Description
“Esther pure linen bed linen from Schlitzer Leinen”
Esther is pure linen in the color of a clear morning sky – not the deep blue of the sea, but the delicate light blue of a cloudless spring day. A color that refreshes. That gives you space. That radiates calm. For people who seek lightness.
European organic linen
Linen bedding lets your skin breathe better. When it comes to your skin, linen is the perfect fabric. Thanks to its long, smooth fibres, linen absorbs a lot of moisture and repels dirt. Linen is an intelligent fabric because it balances temperatures. Linen provides pleasant coolness in summer and cosy warmth in winter.
The long linen fibers ensure that linen bedding stays fresh much longer. The linen fabric has been treated purely mechanically and is therefore very soft and skin-friendly. Linen treated this way wrinkles less while preserving the naturalness and all the benefits of linen. Geniksa is deeply committed to organic linen and absolute sustainability in all manufacturing steps. Geniksa linen bedding is certified according to Oeko Tex Standard 100.
The Weaving Mill
Schlitzer Leinen has been weaving since 1933 in the Hessian town of Schlitz—founded in the year of the World’s Fair “A Century of Progress”. Today, it is the last true linen weaving mill in town, family-run in the third generation. European flax, processed in Germany, each roll of fabric individually inspected. Masters of Linen quality. Made in Europe, from start to finish.
For a sheet, we recommend the fine linen flat sheets and fitted sheets by Schlitzer Leinen.

Care Instructions
Colored linen can be washed up to 60°, white up to 95°. As with all materials, it will last longer if washed at a lower temperature. Avoid detergents with optical brighteners – they bleach out the natural colors. Linen needs sufficient residual moisture so that it does not crease too much. Do not overfill the machine and do not spin too hard. If you want to iron linen, iron it on the hot setting when it is still slightly damp. Or: not at all. The natural creased look is part of linen.
