The KlimaControl Comfort mattress topper from HEFEL uses TENCEL twice, once in the filling and once in the fabric. Because both layers share the fibre, temperature and moisture find their balance from either side. TENCEL gives bacteria little room, and it keeps its form over time. As a result, the bed rests in equilibrium from evening until morning, with the mattress quietly protected beneath.

A family workshop in Austria
KlimaControl Comfort is the versatile mattress protector of the HEFEL range, and the family business makes it in Austria, as it has made bedding for generations. HEFEL has long worked with functional fibres, and this topper shows that interest with particular clarity. Every piece passes through the workshop on its own; afterwards someone checks it before it may leave. A functional box quilting keeps the filling in place, while it lets the surface follow the body. Nothing here draws attention to itself. Austrian bedding craft therefore arrives on the mattress in a form one hardly notices, and that is precisely the point.

Description

Comfort from TENCEL, filling and fabric

TENCEL comes from wood cellulose, and its fine structure draws moisture off the skin, and the bed therefore remains pleasantly dry even on warm nights. With 500 grams per square metre, the filling gives the mattress a flat, fresh surface. Since the cover is TENCEL fabric as well, nothing interrupts the climate between body and mattress. It washes at 60 degrees and keeps its form after every wash. Dermatologically tested, it suits sensitive skin and house dust allergy sufferers alike. Seven sizes cover mattresses from 90 x 200 up to 200 x 200 centimetres. KlimaControl Comfort sits within the HEFEL mattress topper collection, where it carries the climate idea through every layer.

Care

Wash KlimaControl Comfort at 60 degrees, and once the cycle ends, the tumble dryer can finish the work. Tumbling leaves the filling loose and even. Because the fibre washes hygienically, the topper suits sensitive sleepers as well. When it is off the bed, give it an airy shelf rather than a tight cupboard, since it keeps its form that way. Thus the bed stays fresh and cared for through the seasons.
