Three materials for different needs

TENCEL (Lyocell): The coolest option. Absorbs moisture quickly and releases it — ideal for those who perspire at night or sleep in warm bedrooms. Combined with a TENCEL summer duvet, it creates a consistently cool sleep climate.

Virgin wool: The warmest option. Insulates from below, regulates moisture and creates a dry, warm sleeping surface. Combined with a winter duvet in down or cashmere, it completes the full winter system.

Cotton: The all-rounder. Not as cool as TENCEL, not as warm as wool — for anyone who wants to use a mattress topper year-round without changing it seasonally.

All toppers with Hefel’s in-house cambric shells: finely woven, mite-proof, breathable.

The mattress topper in the sleep system

A mattress topper is not a luxury — it is the foundation. It is the first layer above the mattress and influences how moisture and warmth are regulated on the underside of the body — where duvet and pillow cannot reach.

The complete Hefel sleep system: mattress topper → linen fitted sheet → duvet in the appropriate season → linen duvet cover → pillow with linen pillowcase. Every layer works with the next.

Care

Hefel mattress toppers washable at 60 °C (depending on fill). Air regularly. The cover is removable and washable separately. Do not dry clean. Tips at Care & Durability.
