The Pure Cotton mattress topper from HEFEL keeps things simple: pure cotton inside, a skin-friendly cotton fabric outside. It protects the mattress from wear, and it gives each night a fresh, light surface. Elastic corner bands hold it at all four corners, so it stays in place without effort. Cotton breathes naturally, while the fine weave carries moisture away from the body. That is the whole idea, and it suffices.

A light layer from Austria
HEFEL sews Pure Cotton in Austria, in a family business whose experience reaches back over several generations. Here the house shows its plainer side: a natural, easy-care topper made from one fibre alone. Even so, the workshop gives it the same attention as its more elaborate pieces. Each topper takes shape on its own, and someone inspects it before it goes out. A functional box quilting divides the surface into fields, so the cotton filling stays evenly spread. Because filling and cover share the same fibre, the topper feels consistent from the first night onward. In that modesty lies its appeal.

Description

Pure cotton, the filling and the cover

Pure cotton is dermatologically harmless, therefore the topper suits allergy sufferers and sensitive sleepers. The filling weighs 450 grams per square metre, enough to soften the mattress surface without changing its character. Its fine fabric draws moisture outward, so the lying surface stays dry through the night. Since the topper is washable at 60 degrees, it remains hygienic and keeps its shape after each wash. Over the years the filling also holds its function, even in daily use. Robust by nature, the fabric wears its age lightly. Pure Cotton belongs to the HEFEL mattress topper collection as its quiet, uncomplicated foundation.

Care

Pure Cotton goes into the machine at 60 degrees, and afterwards the tumble dryer may take over. Drying in the machine loosens the filling, therefore it returns soft and even. Because it washes so hygienically, the topper also suits sensitive sleepers. Between uses, keep it somewhere airy, since cotton holds its form best when it can breathe. Thus the mattress stays protected, and the bed stays fresh, night after night.
