The Bio Timber mattress topper from HEFEL holds pure TENCEL Lyocell, a fibre that begins its life as certified wood. At 500 grams per square metre it protects the mattress and tempers the climate where you lie. Around the filling sits GOTS-certified organic cotton in its undyed, natural state. Hand-picked and grown without pesticides, the cotton needs no brighteners either. So the surface stays dry and evenly tempered, from the first hour of the night until morning.

In Austria, HEFEL makes Bio Timber with the patience of a family business that several generations have shaped. Here wood fibre becomes protection for the mattress. Each topper counts on its own, because HEFEL checks every one by hand. The house combines craft with innovative manufacturing technique, and it produces this topper CO2-neutrally. A functional quilting keeps the Lyocell filling in place while it guards the mattress below. Therefore the care of a family workshop arrives in the bed, almost unnoticed and always present.

Bio Timber, TENCEL Lyocell from certified wood

Wood from certified sources yields the TENCEL, and HEFEL manufactures the topper without a carbon footprint on balance. Its moisture management leaves bacteria little room, which makes it a calm choice for anyone sensitive to house dust. On the sleeping surface Bio Timber regulates moisture, and it also shields the mattress. The organic cotton feels pleasant and carries moisture away reliably. As a result you lie dry and evenly, with no sense of bulk. With good care Bio Timber lasts a long time, which rewards the decision. Since it absorbs strain, it lengthens the life of the mattress too. It belongs to the HEFEL topper collection.

Care

Wash Bio Timber at 40 degrees whenever it needs freshening, then let it tumble dry. The dryer loosens the Lyocell filling, so it stays light. Because it washes so hygienically, sensitive sleepers can choose it too. Store the topper with air around it, since that keeps its form intact. Thus Bio Timber stays a reliable guard for the mattress for a long time.
