Bio Timber Summer Duvet by HEFEL
The Bio Timber summer duvet from HEFEL holds 100 per cent TENCEL Lyocell, drawn from sustainably sourced beech. This wood fibre cools and regulates moisture, so it belongs to warm nights. The cover is GOTS-certified organic cotton, untreated and natural in tone. Within the organic line of the house, Bio Timber is the summer duvet of wood. Sleep beneath it feels light and clear.

Beech wood, quilted in Austria
HEFEL makes Bio Timber in Austria, in a family company with generations of experience. Many of the people there work in the second or third generation of their family. The house makes each Bio Timber individually and examines it, because only then does the duvet live up to its own standard. The TENCEL comes from certified wood, and production runs CO2-neutrally. Its BodyFit quilting lets the duvet follow the body, so warmth never builds up beneath it. It also holds the filling evenly in place. With Bio Timber, a piece of HEFEL craftsmanship rests on the bed, and the forest feels a little closer.

Bio Timber, a summer filling of beech wood fibre

Bio Timber joins a wood fibre to an organic cotton cover. When the nights turn warm, the beech fibre cools, and it balances moisture at the same time. The fine cover then guides dampness away from the skin, so the bed stays dry. What remains is a sleeping climate both dry and pleasantly cool. Over many years Bio Timber holds its shape, while the light filling stays fresh. Even when warmth clings to the house late into the evening, the duvet brings freshness as you drift off. Bio Timber takes its place within the HEFEL summer duvet collection, next to duvets of silk, wool and maize.

Care

Bio Timber washes at 40 degrees. Afterwards, hang it up in an airy spot to dry. Spot cleaning usually takes care of a mark, so the duvet stays beautiful for years. As it has passed dermatological testing, sensitive sleepers and those with a house dust allergy can choose it too. Store it with access to fresh air, since this keeps the beech fibre fresh. So Bio Timber goes coolly through every summer.
