Sleep cool without freezing: Hefel summer duvets are lightweight luxury for warm nights — warmth class 1–2, weighing between 100 and 135 g/m². Fillings range from down (very light) to cotton (absorbent), silk (cooling) and TENCEL® Lyocell. The inlett breathes with you. Overview: Hefel.

TENCEL (Lyocell): The coolest option. TENCEL is derived from wood cellulose, absorbs 50% more moisture than cotton and releases it quickly. The smooth fibre surface feels pleasantly cool against the skin. Hefel’s innovation — no other manufacturer has established TENCEL in summer duvets as consistently.
Wild silk: Light, temperature-regulating, with the characteristic silky hand feel. Heavier than TENCEL but warmer — the right choice for summer nights that are pleasantly warm rather than tropically hot.
Cotton and bamboo: Proven natural fibres in a light fill. Cotton for the classic, familiar feel, bamboo for a silkier touch with natural antibacterial properties.
All summer duvets are made with Hefel’s Bodyfit quilting — the quilting seams follow the body’s contour rather than a rigid grid pattern. This prevents heat build-up along the body’s edges.
A Hefel summer duvet works best in combination: beneath it, a mattress topper in TENCEL for consistent cooling from the mattress upwards. On top, a linen duvet cover — linen regulates moisture even more efficiently than cotton and amplifies the cooling effect of the TENCEL duvet.
The pillow completes the system: a bamboo or TENCEL pillow keeps the head area cool too — where you perspire most at night.
For the transitional seasons, the all-season duvet is recommended — medium fill weight, suitable all year round.
Hefel summer duvets washable at 60 °C (depending on fill, check the label). Tumble dryer safe. Air regularly — 15–30 minutes draped over the bed edge or a chair with the window open. Tips at Care & Durability.
