The Pure Wool mattress topper from HEFEL holds French merino wool, and only the shoulders, neck and throat of the sheep provide it. These fine parts of the fleece warm gently and regulate moisture. Over them lies a cotton fine sateen with aloe vera, which flatters the skin and leads moisture away quickly. Consequently, Pure Wool lays a warming layer over the mattress, soft and unassuming. Beneath the sheet it remains invisible, yet every night you feel it.

Shoulder, neck and throat
HEFEL, a family business in Austria with generations behind it, makes Pure Wool as protection for the mattress. Its standard begins with the fleece. Only wool from these three parts of free-range French sheep meets the demands of the house. Individual making matters, because HEFEL checks every topper by hand. A functional quilting keeps the merino filling where it belongs, and it spares the mattress underneath. Thus a family firm brings its sense of care into the bed, to a place that stays out of sight.

Description

Pure Wool, merino wool for the mattress

A special finish allows this natural hair to go into the washing machine at 40 degrees, which is unusual for wool fillings. Airing also refreshes it, and it suits people with allergies. Across the lying surface Pure Wool balances moisture and protects the mattress beneath. The fabric feels pleasant and carries dampness off steadily. Therefore the bed feels dry and level, never bulky. HEFEL fills it with 400 grams per square metre. Because it absorbs daily strain, it also extends the life of the mattress. Care

Airing usually suffices, because the natural fibre cleans itself. When a wash is due, a special finish lets Pure Wool go into the machine at 40 degrees. Sensitive skin rests well on it, as the merino keeps the bed dry. A small stain mostly needs only spot cleaning, which spares the wool and its appearance. Looked after like this, Pure Wool keeps protecting the mattress year upon year.
