Pure Wool pillows from HEFEL
The Pure Wool pillow holds French merino wool, taken only from the shoulders, neck and throat of sheep that live freely. These fine parts of the fleece give it a firm, supportive feel. Around them lies a TENCEL fine satin, which carries moisture away and complements the warmth of the wool. The head therefore rests in a dry climate. It is a pillow with substance, quietly certain of itself.

Merino, chosen part by part
HEFEL works in Austria as a family company, and several generations have shaped its sense for materials. For Pure Wool the selection begins with the sheep themselves, then narrows to the finest parts of the fleece. Only shoulders, neck and throat qualify. Each pillow then takes shape individually, and HEFEL inspects it by hand before it leaves. A special HEFEL finish also allows the wool to go into the washing machine, which remains rare for natural animal fibre. So the pillow keeps the character of wool while asking for little effort.

Description

Pure Wool, firm support in merino

Wool balances temperature at the head, and the filling also draws moisture away from it. The satin cover feels pleasant and lets that moisture travel on. Because merino cleans itself to a great degree, the pillow rarely needs washing. When it does, the HEFEL finish permits a cycle at 40 degrees. Its support stays firm yet forgiving, so the head never sinks through. Over time it becomes a steady companion, especially when the neck wants calm. Pure Wool sits within the HEFEL pillows collection for those who like a firmer, natural feel.

Care

Fresh air regenerates Pure Wool, and so it stays free of odour. Air it by an open window now and then. Should a wash become necessary, choose a gentle cycle at 40 degrees. For small marks, cleaning the spot usually suffices, which spares the fibre. Since the sleeping climate stays dry, the pillow also suits sensitive skin. Then it remains reliable well into the years ahead.
