Pure Wool all-season comforter from HEFEL
Only certain wool finds its way into the Pure Wool all-season comforter from HEFEL. It comes from French merino sheep, and only from the shoulder and neck, because those fine parts alone satisfy the standard of the house. A TENCEL fine satin covers the filling, with a silky sheen and a quiet talent for moisture. Under it, warmth stays dry. That holds in January as much as in June.

Selected merino, quilted in Austria
In Austria, HEFEL makes Pure Wool as a family enterprise in which several generations have left their mark. Among the natural hair fillings of the house, this comforter represents the finest virgin wool. Each one takes shape individually in the workshop. Before it departs, somebody examines it, which is how the house keeps its word. The BodyFit body quilting draws the wool close to the body while spreading it evenly from edge to edge. So Austrian craft reaches the bedroom in its most familiar material, sheep’s wool, handled with unusual restraint.

Description

French merino wool, the filling

BodyFit quilting holds the merino in place, so nothing shifts and no corner runs thin. Fine virgin wool also regulates moisture, which makes the comforter suitable for allergy sufferers. Across all four seasons Pure Wool keeps the sleeping climate in balance. The satin feels gentle on the skin and moves dampness away from the body. Consequently the comforter feels dry and light, and rest comes easily. HEFEL made it to last, so it remains a faithful presence for many years. Care

Most of the time Pure Wool needs nothing more than airing, as wool has a way of cleaning itself. If a wash becomes necessary, choose a gentle wool cycle at 40 degrees. The dry climate under the comforter also favours sensitive skin. A small mark is best dabbed away locally. Treated like this, the merino stays handsome for years. And so Pure Wool sees you through the year, one night at a time.
