Who the all-season duvet is right for

For pragmatists: One duvet, one cover, no seasonal changeover. For anyone who has no desire to store the summer duvet in October and dig out the winter one, the all-season duvet is the answer.

For heated bedrooms: In homes with a year-round room temperature of 18–21 °C, an all-season duvet is the logical choice — neither too warm nor too cold.

For waterbed sleepers: Waterbeds generate their own warmth from below. A regular winter duvet would be too much. Hefel offers the all-season duvet Light specifically for waterbeds — a thinner fill calibrated to the higher bed temperature.

For couples with different warmth needs: If one partner is comfortable with the same duvet all year round while the other needs a winter duvet in the colder months — separate duvets in different warmth classes are the solution.

Fill materials and quilting

Hefel’s all-season duvets are available with different fills: TENCEL for maximum moisture regulation, cotton for a familiar feel, natural fibre blends for the balance between warmth and lightness.

The Bodyfit quilting keeps the fill evenly distributed — no clumping, no cold spots. The medium fill weight sits between summer and winter duvets and is calibrated so the duvet works on its own during the transitional seasons, while in the height of summer or the depths of winter it can be fine-tuned with a linen duvet cover on top.

Care

All-season duvets washable at 60 °C (depending on fill). Tumble dryer safe. Air regularly. Store in breathable bags if switching seasonally after all. Tips at Care & Durability.
