Down Alaska All-Season Duvet by HEFEL
The Alaska all-season down duvet holds 90 per cent white goose down of class 1. Around 210 grams rest on each square metre. With 680 CUIN of loft, the filling insulates generously and still weighs very little. A cotton cambric with a Soft Touch finish encloses the down, so the cover settles softly over the sleeper. Alaska keeps to the balanced middle, a duvet for the whole year rather than for one season.

The dependable all-rounder
HEFEL is a family business in Austria, and its experience reaches across several generations. Within the house, Alaska counts as the reliable all-rounder of the down range. Each Alaska duvet passes through the workshop on its own, then someone checks it before it leaves, because the house measures every piece against its own standard. BodyFit quilting follows the contours of the body, so warmth never gathers in one place. A 6 x 8 box system also keeps the down in its cassettes and spreads it evenly. What arrives on the bed, therefore, is a small piece of the HEFEL manufactory, quiet and without ceremony.

Alaska goose down for every season

Nine tenths of the filling is down, the rest fine feathers, all of it from white geese of class 1. NOMITE confirms that Alaska suits people with a house dust allergy, while RDS stands for responsible husbandry without live plucking. Through spring, summer, autumn and winter the duvet keeps the sleeping climate even. Its fine cover draws moisture away from the body, so the bed stays dry. Over the years Alaska holds its shape, and the filling keeps its strength and volume. For anyone who wants a single duvet for every season, this all-season goose down duvet answers quietly. Care

Alaska goes into the machine at 40 degrees and afterwards into the tumble dryer. Fresh air does it good, since regular airing keeps the down light and full of volume. Because NOMITE and RDS vouch for the origin of the filling, the duvet also suits allergy sufferers. Store it loosely rather than pressed into a narrow cupboard, so it keeps its loft between uses. In this way Alaska stays with you over many years and through every season.
