Organic linen bed linen in a wide check pattern by Vieböck. This patterned organic linen has been an integral part of the Vieböck collection for many years. The fabric really stands out visually thanks to its combination of bleached and natural linen yarns. This type of pattern is rarely found in linen, as the production process is very labour-intensive. Vieböck has woven this traditional item to be very thin and fine. The linen feels exceptionally light and soft against the skin. And the cool clarity of the pattern fosters a pleasant sense of detachment in the mind. The perfect conditions for a carefree journey into the realm of dreams. Every set of bed linen is made exclusively to order for you. European organic linen bed linen allows the skin to breathe more easily. When it comes to our skin, linen is the perfect fabric. Thanks to its long, smooth fibres, linen absorbs a lot of moisture and repels dirt. Linen is a smart fabric because it regulates temperature. Linen provides pleasant coolness in summer and cosy warmth in winter. The long linen fibres ensure that linen bed linen stays fresh for much longer. The linen fabric has been treated purely mechanically and is therefore very soft and skin-friendly. Linen treated in this way creases less whilst retaining its natural qualities and all the benefits of linen. Vieböck is committed to organic linen and absolute sustainability at every stage of production, so creating certified linen bed linen in accordance with the GOTS standard was a completely natural step.

The Weaving Mill
Vieböck has been weaving linen and cotton fabrics for more than 185 years, producing both traditional Mühlviertel patterns and modern designs. This makes it one of the oldest and most established companies in Austria. The International Association of Natural Textile Industry (IVN) has awarded Vieböck both GOTS and IVN BEST certification. This guarantees the highest standards for textiles in terms of ecological and socially responsible practices. At Vieböck, this tradition spanning more than 180 years is combined with modern concepts such as ecology, sustainability and product transparency. The linen yarns are sourced exclusively from environmentally friendly and sustainable cultivation in Europe (France, Belgium and the Netherlands). Finishing is carried out purely mechanically and naturally; the fabrics are dyed with reactive dyes and vegetable dyes in Lower Austria. Christine and Carmen sew this bed linen with great care exclusively for you. All Vieböck fabrics are woven exclusively in Helfenberg. For bed sheets, we recommend the fine linen sheets and fitted sheets from Vieböck. Every order is made to measure for you.

Care Instructions

Colored linen can be washed up to 60°, white up to 95°. As with all materials, linen will last longer if washed at a lower temperature. What linen does not tolerate are detergents with optical brighteners, they bleach out the natural colors and the fabric becomes light Wrinkling: Linen needs sufficient residual moisture so that it does not wrinkle so much. Do not overload the machine so that the fabric can move, do not spin linen too hard or for too long. If you want to iron linen, iron the items on the hot linen setting of your iron when they are still a little damp. Even if it is convenient: avoid drying linen in the dryer. Overdrying can cause it to shrink
