Organic linen bed linen wide check from Vieböck
Organic linen bed linen wide check from Vieböck. The patterned organic linen has been an integral part of the Vieböck collection for many years. The article stands out visually due to its combination of bleached and natural linen yarns. This type of patterning is rarely found in linen, as the production is very elaborate. Vieböck has woven this traditional article very thin and fine. The linen feels extraordinarily light and soft on the skin. And the cool clarity of the pattern supports a pleasant detachment of thoughts. The best conditions for a carefree journey into the realm of dreams. Every set of bed linen is made exclusively to order for you. European organic linen: linen bedding lets your skin breathe better. When it comes to our skin, linen is the perfect fabric. Thanks to its long, smooth fibres, linen absorbs a great deal of moisture and repels dirt. Linen is an intelligent fabric: it regulates temperature, keeping you pleasantly cool in summer and comfortably warm in winter. The long linen fibres ensure that linen bedding stays fresh for much longer. The linen fabric has been treated purely mechanically, making it very soft and gentle on the skin. Linen treated in this way creases less while preserving the natural qualities and all the benefits of linen. Vieböck is committed to organic linen and unconditional sustainability in all production steps, and so the creation of GOTS-certified linen bedding was a perfectly natural step.

The Weaving Mill
Vieböck has been weaving linen and cotton fabrics for more than 185 years, both in traditional Mühlviertel patterns and in modern designs. This makes them one of the oldest and most tradition-rich companies in Austria. The International Association of Natural Textile Industry (IVN) has certified Vieböck according to both GOTS and IVN BEST standards. This guarantees the highest demands on textiles in ecological and socially responsible standards. More than 180 years of tradition combine at Vieböck with modern principles such as ecology, sustainability and product transparency. The linen yarns come exclusively from environmentally friendly and sustainable cultivation in Europe (France, Belgium and the Netherlands). Finishing is purely mechanical and natural; the fabrics are dyed with reactive dyes and plant-based colours in Lower Austria. Christine and Carmen sew this bed linen with great care exclusively for you. All Vieböck fabrics are woven exclusively in Helfenberg. European Organic Linen

Linen bedding lets your skin breathe better. When it comes to our skin, linen is the perfect fabric. Thanks to its long, smooth fibres, linen absorbs a great deal of moisture and repels dirt. Linen is an intelligent fabric because it regulates temperature. Linen provides pleasant coolness in summer and creates cosy warmth in winter. The long linen fibres ensure that linen bedding stays fresh much longer. The linen fabric has been treated purely mechanically, making it very soft and skin-friendly. Linen treated in this way wrinkles less while preserving the natural qualities and all the benefits of linen. Vieböck is deeply committed to organic linen and unconditional sustainability in every step of production, making the creation of GOTS-certified linen bedding a natural step.

The Weaving Mill

Vieböck has been weaving linen and cotton fabrics for more than 185 years, both in traditional Mühlviertel patterns and in modern designs. This makes them one of the oldest and most traditional companies in Austria. The International Association of Natural Textile Industry (IVN) has awarded Vieböck both GOTS and IVN BEST certification. This guarantees the highest standards for textiles in ecological and socially responsible production.
These more than 180 years of tradition are combined at Vieböck with modern values such as ecology, sustainability and product clarity. The linen yarns come exclusively from environmentally friendly and sustainable cultivation in Europe (France, Belgium and the Netherlands). The finishing is purely mechanical and natural, the fabrics are dyed with reactive dyes and plant-based dyes in Lower Austria. Christine and Carmen sew this bed linen with great care exclusively for you. All Vieböck fabrics are woven exclusively in Helfenberg.

As a bed sheet, we recommend the fine linen flat sheets and fitted sheets from Vieböck. Each order is individually made for you.

Care Instructions

Coloured linen can be washed at up to 60°C, white linen at up to 95°C. As with all materials, the same applies to linen: washing at lower temperatures makes it last longer. What linen does not tolerate are detergents with optical brighteners, as they strongly bleach the natural colours and the fabric becomes pale. Wrinkling: Linen needs sufficient residual moisture so that it does not wrinkle as much. Do not overload the machine so the fabric can move freely, and do not spin linen too hard or too long. If you wish to iron linen, iron the items on the hot “linen” setting of your iron while they are still slightly damp. Even if it is convenient: avoid drying linen in the tumble dryer. Over-drying can cause shrinkage.
