The Pure Bamboo all-season comforter from HEFEL rests on a single fibre, and that fibre is bamboo. Some call it a natural air conditioning, because it cools when the night turns warm and evens out temperature in every season. Above it lies a TENCEL fine satin, which supports that cooling effect rather than working against it. The bed therefore stays pleasant even on close summer nights. In winter, it simply keeps its balance.

Vegan comfort from an Austrian house
The Pure Bamboo story begins in Austria, with a family business that HEFEL has carried through several generations. Within the range, it stands as the vegan climate comforter, made from a sustainable raw material. The workshop builds Pure Bamboo one piece at a time. No comforter leaves the house unchecked, since HEFEL holds each one to its own standard. Its BodyFit quilting adapts to the contours of the sleeper and prevents pockets of trapped heat. Austrian bedding craft thus finds its way into the bedroom in a plant-based form, light and unassuming.

Description

Bamboo fibre, the filling

Bamboo has a naturally antibacterial character, and dermatologists have tested the comforter. Allergy sufferers therefore sleep well beneath it, helped also by the fact that it goes into the wash at 60 degrees. Throughout the year Pure Bamboo keeps the sleeping climate level. The cover feels kind on the skin, while it also leads moisture away. Dry and light, the comforter lets sleep remain restful. HEFEL built it for durability, so it accompanies many winters and summers. Pure Bamboo is part of the HEFEL all-season duvet range, alongside wool, camel hair and maize.

Care

A 60 degree cycle cleans Pure Bamboo thoroughly, and a turn in the tumble dryer may follow. Drying in the machine loosens the fibre, so the filling regains its lift. Since the comforter has passed dermatological testing, it also suits sensitive sleepers. Between seasons, store it with room to breathe rather than squeezed onto a shelf. In that way it keeps its volume. Then, night after night, it carries you through the whole year.
