Marina Stripe is pure linen, washed, so it feels relaxed from the first evening. Libeco weaves it as a pièce de lin in three sizes, from 115 x 180 to 125 x 325 cm. Placemats in the same design, four to a set, structure the table when a full cloth seems too much. Then there is a cushion cover of 50 x 50 cm, which carries the stripe from the dining chair to the sofa. Care

Marina Stripe washes at up to 60 degrees, though a gentler temperature keeps the cognac and indigo clear for longer. Do without optical brighteners, since they draw the natural colour out of linen. Leave space in the machine. Spin at a moderate speed and for a short while only, so that some moisture remains and creases stay soft. For ironing, a hot linen setting and slightly damp fabric work best. Avoid the tumble dryer altogether, because overdrying can make linen shrink.
