Why the sheet makes all the difference

The fitted sheet is the surface you lie on all night long — it comes into contact with your skin more than any other item of bed linen. If the bed linen is made of Belgian linen but the sheet underneath is cotton jersey, you’ll notice the difference straight away: cool and textured on top, warm and smooth underneath.

Libeco’s fitted sheet solves this problem. The same stonewashed linen, the same coolness against the skin, the same moisture regulation. On warm nights, you lie on a consistently cool surface – no mix of materials, no compromise.

The elastic bands are generously sized for mattress heights of up to 30 cm — including mattress toppers. On thinner mattresses, they provide a secure fit that holds firm even during restless sleep.

Colours and combinations

Libeco’s fitted sheets are available in the same colour ranges as the bed linen: Heritage White, Oyster, Flax, Natural and seasonal shades. Our recommendation: choose a sheet one shade darker than the duvet cover — Flax under Heritage White, Natural under Oyster. This creates depth without looking cluttered. Or go for a single shade — monochrome linen is the most serene option and works particularly well with a contrasting bedspread on top.

Care

Wash at 40°C, do not use fabric softener. Air dry. Linen fitted sheets take a little longer to dry than cotton ones — but the investment is well worth it for your sleeping comfort. They become softer with every wash. See Care & Durability for tips.
