Description
Black House Stripe in linen and wool
Black House Stripe combines linen and wool, with linen making up 70 per cent of the cloth. Linen keeps the surface cool and clear, while wool brings warmth in winter and stays comfortable in summer. At 610 grams per square metre, the throw has the weight to lie flat. The anthracite grey stripes soften the black just enough. Meanwhile the linen-coloured ground gives both colours room to breathe. As a bedspread of 280 x 240 cm it frames the whole bed, whereas the 140 x 220 cm size suits a sofa or an armchair. You will find it in the Libeco throws collection.

Care
Black House Stripe tells you itself how it prefers its wash, through the care label stitched inside. Follow that before anything else. Deep black and wool fibres share a liking for cool water, so keep the cycle mild and unhurried. Furthermore, a detergent free of optical brighteners helps the dark stripes stay deep instead of greying. Then dry the throw lying flat, in fresh air rather than the tumble dryer. That small discipline keeps it calm and dark for a long while.
