Description
“Pure linen canvas bed linen from Leitner Leinen”
Canvas – a term that is deeply rooted in the European textile tradition. For centuries, canvas has stood for the robust quality that has accompanied generations. What was once valued as peasant linen has been given a contemporary reinterpretation here: the authentic texture is retained, the striking structure becomes a design element. No jacquard patterning distracts, no ornamentation is superimposed – instead, the linen fiber itself comes to the fore. The characteristic irregularity is not concealed, but emphasized. Every thread tells of its origin, every thickening shows the vitality of natural fibers. What seems like luxury today – authenticity without compromise – was taken for granted. This design combines tradition with deliberate reduction. Canvas transforms your bedroom into a room of restrained splendor, where simplicity does not mean lack, but the highest form of textile honesty.
The benefits of European organic linen
Nothing shows the true quality of linen as clearly as a purist finish. The exceptionally long fibers of European flax give the fabric its characteristic strength and silky softness at the same time. Linen is an intelligent material: it regulates its own temperature – cooling when it is warm, warming on cool nights. This natural climate regulation is due to the hollow fiber structure, which traps air and absorbs moisture. Linen can bind considerable amounts of moisture, which ensures an optimal sleeping climate. The smooth fibers are extremely skin-friendly and become more supple with every wash. At the same time, linen remains remarkably resistant. Leitner relies exclusively on organic linen from certified European cultivation – sustainably produced and of uncompromising quality.

Caring for your linen bedding
Linen bed linen is easy to care for and becomes more supple with every wash. Colored linen can withstand temperatures up to 60°, white linen up to 95°. In daily use, 40-60° is completely sufficient for perfect hygiene. Important: Do not use detergents with optical brighteners – these can impair the natural color depth of the linen. The characteristic slight creasing of linen is an expression of its naturalness and is part of the authentic material. For smoother results: Do not overfill the washing machine, limit the spin cycle to 800-1000 revolutions. If desired, you can iron at the highest ironing setting, ideally with light residual moisture. Do not use a tumble dryer: air drying is gentler, preserves the fiber quality and considerably extends the life of your bed linen.
