Description
“Confusion pure linen bed linen from Leitner Leinen”
Confusion – a name that deliberately irritates and invites you to take a closer look. This design is pure presence: lines intersect seemingly at random, geometric shapes overlap, order and chaos dance in a contemporary dialog. What appears confusing at first glance turns out to be a highly complex composition – a visual puzzle that never gets boring. The aesthetics are reminiscent of modern architectural drawings, of the dynamics of urban life. There is no baroque symmetry here, no Renaissance tendrils, but contemporary formal language in its purest form. The pattern functions like an optical game: depending on the incidence of light, new structures and new contexts are revealed. The color palette underlines the modern character. Confusion transforms your bedroom into a place of contemporary aesthetics, where design meets craftsmanship and tradition meets innovation.
The benefits of European organic linen
Linen has combined tradition with timeless comfort for thousands of years – a material that suits all eras and styles. The exceptionally long fibers of European flax make linen the ideal fabric for bed linen: the surface feels pleasantly cool, while the material regulates the temperature in a natural way. At the height of summer, linen provides refreshing coolness, while on cold nights it provides cozy warmth. Linen owes this climate regulation to its unique fiber structure – permeable to air and able to absorb considerable amounts of moisture without feeling damp. The result is an optimal bed climate that promotes restful sleep. The smooth, long fibers are exceptionally skin-friendly and become softer with every wash. At the same time, linen is remarkably robust and durable. Leitner only uses organic linen from European cultivation areas – sustainably produced, free of harmful substances and of the highest quality.
Manufactory since 1853
In the Upper Austrian Mühlviertel, in the village of Ulrichsberg near the Bohemian Forest, lies the weaving mill Leitner. The art of linen processing has been passed down from generation to generation here since 1853. What once began as a small weaving mill is now a manufactory with an international reputation – represented at the leading textile trade fairs in Paris, Milan and New York. Its success is based on the combination of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. Leitner does not produce mass-produced items, but well thought-out collections that combine experience and precision. As a manufactory, Leitner offers the flexibility to respond to individual wishes: Special sizes for unusual bed dimensions are just as much a part of the service as personal advice. Every comforter cover and every pillowcase is made with the awareness that genuine quality must endure – for years, for decades, for generations.

Caring for your linen bedding
High-quality linen bedding is easy to care for and develops an increasingly pleasant softness over time. Colored linen can be washed at up to 60°, white bed linen can withstand 95°. In everyday life, 40-60° is completely sufficient for perfect hygiene. Do not use detergents with optical brighteners – these reduce the natural color intensity of the linen. The slight creasing is characteristic of linen and emphasizes the naturalness of the material. For a smoother result: Fill the washing drum to a maximum of two thirds full and limit the spin speed to 800-1000 revolutions. Ironing is optional – if desired, on the highest setting with slight residual moisture. Do not use a tumble dryer: air drying is gentler on the material, preserves the fiber quality and considerably extends the life of your bed linen.
