Description

“Construction rug Ginger linen-wool mix from Libeco”

Construction carpet Ginger linen-wool mix from Libeco. The designer says: “This rug collection is robust, strong and beautiful. It is made from the Jasper collection fabric, colorfully combined and stitched in the middle. Both color versions – natural/faded black and natural/ginger – are available in two sizes.” All items are finished with a linen border. They offer endless combination possibilities and go very well with almost all Libeco collections.

Carpets made from an organic linen-wool blend

Walking barefoot over a carpet made from organic linen-wool blends gives you a new sense of well-being. In the classic weaving technique of plain weave, yarns are used here that consist of a larger proportion of flax fibers and a smaller proportion of sheep’s wool. This makes carpets made from organic linen-wool blends very special floor coverings. The strong and durable linen fiber makes the carpet very hard-wearing, while the wool fiber creates a warming air cushion. Carpets made from organic linen-wool blends are unbeatable, and not just in terms of environmental friendliness and sustainability. They are also dirt-repellent, anti-allergenic and anti-bacterial. Both the organic linen used is grown in Europe and the wool comes from sheep bred in Europe. Carpets made from organic linen-wool blends not only give a very pleasant feeling on the feet, whether barefoot, in socks or with shoes, they also give a clear conscience, as our carpets are certified by the GOTS standard.

The Weaving Mill

In 2006, Libeco received a knighthood from the Belgian royal family: “Belgian Royal Warrant Holder” is the impressive recognition of the quality of this linen. The “Belgian Linen” quality seal is the guarantee of a quality product in accordance with all the rules of sustainable management. All Libeco fabrics bear the coveted “Masters of Linen” label. This guarantees that the fabrics have been tested to meet the extremely high requirements of this master class and that they are manufactured exclusively in Europe. “Eco Line” and “Oeko-Tex” give you the assurance that Libeco fabrics are free from harmful substances and have not been treated with chemicals, bleached or dyed.

Care Instructions

Colored linen can be washed up to 60°, white up to 95°. As with all materials, linen will last longer if washed at a lower temperature. What linen does not tolerate are detergents with optical brighteners, they bleach out the natural colors and the fabric becomes light. Creasing: Linen needs sufficient residual moisture so that it does not crease so much. Do not overload the machine so that the fabric can move, and do not spin linen too hard or for too long. If you want to iron linen, iron the garments on the hot setting of your iron when they are still a little damp. Even if it is convenient, avoid drying linen in the dryer. Overdrying can cause it to shrink.
