Description
Gus, earth tones in linen and wool
Linen leads in Gus at 70 per cent, and wool supplies the remaining 30. The washed cloth weighs 610 grams per square metre and joins structure with softness. A yarn of Nm 28 gives the plain weave a rustic depth. Linen contributes freshness and resists dirt, while wool brings warmth, so Gus serves in every season. At 140 x 220 cm, the blanket covers a sofa or the foot of a bed. The cushion cover, 63 x 63 cm, closes with a zip and keeps it company. Then a 23 x 28 cm bag rounds off three formats that work together. Gus belongs to the linen-wool throws from Libeco, where it brings the warmest earth tones.

Care
The less heat Gus meets, the longer it lasts, and the care label sewn into the blanket confirms the details, so read it first. Here, too, a cool, gentle cycle suits the wool far better than strong heat. Also skip any detergent with optical brighteners, which would wash beeswax and ecru into paler versions of themselves. Then lay the blanket flat and let it dry slowly in the air. In addition, keep the tumble dryer for other laundry, since over-drying risks shrinkage.
