What makes this piece special

Imperial by Leitner Leinen combines baroque opulence with the cultivated calm of pure linen. The artfully woven jacquard, inspired by the ornamental design language of the European High Baroque, brings acanthus leaves and floral tendrils to life as a tactile relief and testifies to the masterful craftsmanship that has characterized Leitner Manufaktur since 1853. Made from 100% European organic linen in an elaborate jacquard linen weave, Imperial combines prestigious aesthetics with the natural advantages of linen fibers: a smooth surface, high absorbency, antistatic properties and a patina that gains character over time. Available in nine carefully coordinated colors and woven in Austria, Imperial stands for sustainable quality, textile tradition and a table design that harmoniously combines elegance and restraint.

Imperial pure linen bed linen from Leitner Leinen

Imperial – the name says it all: stately, majestic, of timeless grandeur. This bed linen is a homage to the splendour of the Baroque, that era in which abundance and artistry merged into an incomparable unity. Opulent floral motifs unfold in lavish profusion across the fabric, artfully composed according to the principles of Baroque ornamentation. Sweeping acanthus leaves, stylised blossoms and elegant tendrils compose themselves into a total work that combines opulence with nobility. Imperial achieves the seemingly impossible: it is expansive yet subtle, magnificent yet never ostentatious. The nine noble colour shades – from pure white through delicate sakura and deep Delft Blue to earthy nuances like terra and granite – transform the bedroom into a royal chamber.

The Leitner Leinen Manufactory

Since 1853, the art of linen weaving has been cultivated and perfected in Ulrichsberg – a tradition that has endured for five generations. In the Austrian Mühlviertel, on the edge of the Böhmerwald, the Leitner family produces bed linen that unites craftsmanship with contemporary design. What began as a regional weaving mill has developed through consistent innovation and dialogue with international designers into a manufactory of world renown. At Leitner, manufactory means more than a label – it is a lived philosophy. Production remains manageable, flexible and customer-oriented. Custom sizes and individual wishes are possible because here, people watch over machines. The presence at international fairs testifies to worldwide recognition, yet the soul of Leitner beats in the Mühlviertel. Authenticity, quality and the aspiration to create bed linen for generations – these are the values that distinguish every creation.

Description

“Imperial pure linen bed linen from Leitner Leinen”

Imperial – the name says it all: stately, majestic, timeless grandeur. This bed linen pays homage to the splendor of the Baroque era, a period in which opulence and artistry merged into an incomparable unity. Lush floral motifs unfold in lavish abundance across the fabric, artfully composed according to the principles of Baroque ornamentation. Sweeping acanthus leaves, stylized blossoms and elegant tendrils come together to create an overall work that combines opulence with noblesse. Imperial achieves the seemingly impossible: It is expansive and yet discreet, magnificent and never obtrusive. The nine noble shades – from pure white to delicate sakura and deep delft blue to earthy nuances such as terra and granite – transform the bedroom into a royal chamber.

European organic linen for healthy sleep

Linen is one of the finest natural fibers for bed linen – a material that has proven itself over thousands of years. The particularly long and smooth fibers of the flax plant create a surface that feels cool on the skin and is exceptionally soft. Linen regulates moisture in a natural way: It absorbs up to 35% of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp. This intelligent climate regulation creates an ideal sleeping climate – cooling on warm summer nights, warming on cool winter nights. The robust structure of the linen fibers makes the bed linen extremely durable, while the purely mechanical treatment preserves the natural softness. Leitner Leinen only uses European organic linen – a decision for sustainability and quality that you will feel night after night.

The manufactory Leitner Linen

The art of linen weaving has been cultivated and perfected in Ulrichsberg since 1853 – a tradition that has lasted five generations. In the Austrian Mühlviertel, on the edge of the Bohemian Forest, the Leitner family produces bed linen that combines craftsmanship with contemporary design. What began as a regional weaving mill has developed into a world-class manufactory through innovation and dialog with international designers. At Leitner, manufacture means more than just a label – it is a philosophy that is put into practice. Production remains manageable, flexible and customer-oriented. Special sizes and individual requests are possible because people watch over machines here. The company’s presence at international trade fairs testifies to its worldwide recognition, but Leitner’s soul beats in the Mühlviertel. Authenticity, quality and the aspiration to create bed linen for generations – these are the values that characterize every creation.

The right care for linen bedding

High-quality linen bedding is easy to care for and becomes smoother with every wash. Wash colored bed linen at up to 60°, white qualities can withstand 95°. For everyday use, we recommend washing at 40-60° to preserve colors. Use detergents without optical brighteners – these bleach out the natural pigments. The characteristic creased look is part of the natural beauty of linen bedding. For smoother covers: Fill the washing drum to a maximum of two-thirds full and spin at 800-1000 revolutions. Iron on the highest temperature setting, ideally with residual moisture. Do not use a tumble dryer – gentle air drying will preserve the quality for many years.
