Description
Faded Black, a cool shade in linen and wool
More than half of Jasper Faded Black is linen, 55 per cent, and wool supplies the other 45. Washed to 1000 g/m², the fabric has real weight, and its structure endures. The plain weave runs on Nm 58 yarn. Wool lends warmth, while linen keeps the blend robust and easier to look after than pure wool. Each piece shows its own nuance of shade, so no two look quite alike. On a sofa, the cushion brings calm; on a bed, it brings depth. Hunter Green, Ginger and Leather keep it company in the Libeco coverlets and pillowcase collection.

Care
Faded black keeps its depth best when the water stays cool, and the care label inside the cover has the last word on everything else. Because the blend mixes linen with a generous share of wool, gentleness pays off at every step. Leave out any detergent with optical brighteners, as these bleach natural colours. Then coax the damp cover back into shape with your hands and let it dry lying flat. Keep it well clear of the tumble dryer.
