Description
“Montana Grey Linen-Wool Mix by Libeco”
The Montana Grey Linen-Wool Mix by Libeco has a dense, full and aesthetically pleasing look. The designer says: “Our new collection is inspired by the wilderness, hence the colours and names. I imagine how the colours and stripes adorn the interiors of simple country houses and cabins around the world. For me, it was once again time for a colourful concept that – as always – allows countless combinations. It is a material construction that excites me because it is different, radiates beauty and lends itself to many different products. These are exciting times.”
“We present a new linen-wool blanket for winter. The grey variant has grey and beige as base colours and is adorned with rust-coloured and black stripes. The gold variant has gold and beige as base colours and is adorned with olive-green and black stripes. Both plaids have a flax-coloured fringed edge. The fabric is a blend of herringbone and plain weave and is also washed, giving it a dense, full and aesthetically pleasing look. A real eye-catcher.”
European Organic Linen
Linen bed linen lets your skin breathe better. When it comes to our skin, linen is the perfect fabric. Thanks to its long, smooth fibres, linen absorbs a great deal of moisture and repels dirt. Linen is an intelligent fabric because it regulates temperature. Linen provides pleasant coolness in summer and cosy warmth in winter. The long linen fibres ensure that linen bed linen stays fresh much longer. The linen fabric has been treated purely mechanically, making it very supple and kind to the skin. Linen treated in this way creases less while preserving its natural quality and all the advantages of linen. Libeco is committed to organic linen and uncompromising sustainability in every step of production, and the creation of GOTS-certified linen bed linen in the Heritage collection was a logical next step.

This guarantees that the fabrics have been tested to the extremely high requirements of this master class and that they are produced exclusively in Europe. “Eco Line” and “Oeko-Tex” provide the assurance that Libeco fabrics are free from harmful substances and have not been treated with chemicals, bleached or dyed.

Care
Coloured linen can be washed at up to 60°C, white linen at up to 95°C. As with all materials, the same applies to linen: washing at lower temperatures extends its life. Linen does not tolerate detergents with optical brighteners, as they strongly bleach the natural colours and the fabric becomes pale. Creasing: linen needs sufficient residual moisture to prevent excessive creasing. Do not overload the machine so the fabric can move freely, and do not spin linen too hard or too long. If you wish to iron linen, iron the pieces on the hot linen setting of your iron while they are still slightly damp. Even if it is convenient, avoid tumble-drying linen. Over-drying can cause shrinkage.
