Description
Oscar, beeswax on black
Oscar uses a coarser yarn of Nm 28. Linen sets the tone at 70 per cent, wool adds the other 30, and together they weigh 610 grams for every square metre. A plain weave keeps the beeswax stripes crisp against the black. Because the throw stays light, it travels easily from sofa to bed and back. Moreover, the cushion cover adds a decorative woven detail and closes with a zip, whereas the small bag repeats the design of the throw. Since linen resists dirt, Oscar also forgives everyday use. Over time the washed surface turns softer, though its structure remains. Oscar takes its place in the collection of Libeco throws, at its most industrial end.

Care
Oscar comes with a care label, which is the first thing to consult before any wash. Since wool shares the cloth with linen, keep the water cool and the handling gentle. Detergents with optical brighteners stay on the shelf, as they wash the depth out of the darker stripes. Afterwards, lay the throw flat and leave the fringed edges to settle as it dries. In this way, air rather than the tumble dryer finishes the job, and the throw keeps its easy, relaxed fall.
