The Propriano Linen Coverlet and Cushion by Libeco takes you to Corsica. A magnificent island with rugged nature, breathtaking beaches and otherworldly colours. The inspiration comes naturally from the facades of Bonifacio, in magnificent hues bleached by the ever-present sun. Not only the colours, but also the cosy, artistic atmosphere found there is reflected in this collection.
The unusual name was borrowed from a coastal town in the south of Corsica. Propriano is the perfect collection for a summery bed! The eggshell-coloured bedspread is seamed in the centre and features asymmetric stripes on each half in a splendid decorative yarn. The matching eggshell-coloured cushion has a wide stripe in the centre with decorative yarn on each side.

Care

Coloured linen can be washed at up to 60°C, white linen at up to 95°C. As with all materials, the same applies to linen: washing at lower temperatures extends its life. Linen does not tolerate detergents with optical brighteners, as they strongly bleach the natural colours and the fabric becomes pale. Creasing: linen needs sufficient residual moisture to prevent excessive creasing. Do not overload the machine so the fabric can move freely, and do not spin linen too hard or too long. If you wish to iron linen, iron the pieces on the hot linen setting of your iron while they are still slightly damp. Even if it is convenient, avoid tumble-drying linen. Over-drying can cause shrinkage.
