Scotia linen bedspread from Geniksa. A quilted bedspread that is wonderfully warm when it is stormy and snowing outside. The rather dark gray of the dyed yarn gives the fabric a structured appearance and the quilted checks round off the impression of a heavy winter blanket, which nevertheless fits wonderfully on the sofa on warm days. As was customary in the past, each piece of Geniksa bed linen has an embroidered logo, a pine branch. 100 percent best washed linen. The quilted blankets made of pure linen were designed in collaboration with experts and designers from Germany, Great Britain and Lithuania. These blankets can be used several times: As a decorative blanket or as a “lazy comforter cover” for the night. Lazy comforter cover means that the comforter cover does not need to be put on and taken off for washing. You can simply put this cover in the washing machine and even in the dryer and you will have a fresh and cozy comforter again. This comforter is for everyday use and can be machine washed and dried again and again.

This guarantees that the fabrics have been tested to meet the extremely high requirements of this master class and that they are manufactured exclusively in Europe. “Eco Line” and “Oeko-Tex” give you the certainty that Geniksa fabrics are free of harmful substances and that they have not been treated, bleached or dyed with chemicals. We recommend the fine linen sheets and fitted sheets from Geniksa.

European organic linen

Linen bed linen allows the skin to breathe better. When it comes to our skin, linen is the perfect fabric. Due to its long, smooth fibers, linen absorbs a lot of moisture and repels dirt. Linen is an intelligent fabric because linen balances out temperatures. Linen ensures a pleasant coolness in summer and creates cozy warmth in winter. The long linen fibers ensure that linen bed linen stays fresh for much longer. The linen fabric has been treated purely mechanically and is therefore very soft and skin-friendly. Linen treated in this way creases less and retains the naturalness and all the advantages of linen. Geniksa is deeply committed to organic linen and to unconditional sustainability in all stages of production. Geniksa linen bedding is certified according to Oeko Tex Standard 100.

Care Instructions

Colored linen can be washed up to 60°, white up to 95°. As with all materials, linen will last longer if washed at a lower temperature. What linen does not tolerate are detergents with optical brighteners, they bleach out the natural colors and the fabric becomes light Wrinkling: Linen needs sufficient residual moisture so that it does not wrinkle so much. Do not overload the machine so that the fabric can move, do not spin linen too hard or for too long. If you want to iron linen, iron the items on the hot linen setting of your iron when they are still a little damp.
