Scotia Classic linen bed linen from Geniksa. A day blanket and a duvet that keeps you wonderfully warm when it’s stormy and snowing outside. Plus the matching cushions. This is Scotia, the linen bed linen from Geniksa. The rather dark grey of the dyed yarn gives the fabric a textured appearance, and the quilted checks complete the look of a heavy winter duvet, which nevertheless looks wonderful on the sofa on warm days. Just as was customary in the past, every item of bed linen from Geniksa features an embroidered logo: a pine branch. 100 per cent premium pre-washed linen.

European organic linen

Linen bed linen allows the skin to breathe better. When it comes to our skin, linen is the perfect fabric. Due to its long, smooth fibers, linen absorbs a lot of moisture and repels dirt. Linen is an intelligent fabric because linen balances out temperatures. Linen ensures a pleasant coolness in summer and creates cozy warmth in winter. The long linen fibers ensure that linen bed linen stays fresh for much longer. The linen fabric has been treated purely mechanically and is therefore very soft and skin-friendly. Linen treated in this way creases less and retains the naturalness and all the advantages of linen. Geniksa is deeply committed to organic linen and to unconditional sustainability in all stages of production. Geniksa linen bedding is certified according to Oeko Tex Standard 100.

Care Instructions

Colored linen can be washed up to 60°, white up to 95°. As with all materials, linen will last longer if washed at a lower temperature. What linen does not tolerate are detergents with optical brighteners, they bleach out the natural colors and the fabric becomes light. Creasing: Linen needs sufficient residual moisture so that it does not crease so much. Do not overload the machine so that the fabric can move, and do not spin linen too hard or for too long. If you want to iron linen, iron the items on the hot linen setting of your iron when they are still a little damp.
