Salia linen bedding from Geniksa pairs a light, cool blue with a fine white piping. The line runs along the edges like a drawn contour and gives each piece a frame. Blue of this kind feels fresh in the evening and calm in the morning. Meanwhile the fibre keeps the climate function that only real linen possesses, and the cloth itself conveys a gentle warmth. Blue and white from the Baltic
At Geniksa, a near-purist simplicity grows from an attachment to nature, not from any trend. Linen, so the conviction of the mill runs, needs no embellishment, because its appearance and its hand already say enough. Salia allows itself one quiet contrast, a white edge on pastel blue. The flax comes exclusively from European cultivation, and Geniksa finishes it mechanically, without chemical bleach or brighteners. Every fabric of the house holds the Masters of Linen label, testimony to demanding checks and European production. Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and Eco Line, meanwhile, rule out harmful substances. The weaving takes place on the Baltic coast, carbon-neutral throughout.

Salia, light blue linen with white piping

Salia suits anyone who wants colour in the bedroom without insistence. The cool pastel blue stays discreet enough for every day, yet on a freshly made bed it sets its own accent. At 175 g/m², the cloth drapes softly and never feels heavy. Whoever sleeps warm or has sensitive skin benefits from flax, since it takes up moisture, passes it outwards and remains dry against the body. It also cools in summer and warms in winter, softening with every wash. Mechanical finishing keeps the fabric supple and lowers creasing. Salia brings its blue and white contrast to the Geniksa bed linen collection.

Care

Salia washes at up to 60 degrees as coloured linen, though cooler water keeps the blue fresh for longer. Optical brighteners would bleach the natural colour, so choose a detergent without them. Load the drum loosely, because linen likes room to move. Spin gently and not for too long; residual moisture keeps creases soft. For ironing, the hot linen setting works best on fabric that still holds a little dampness. Then the white piping lies flat and straight.
