Description
Natural Buttons, the colour of the fibre
Flax in its untreated state carries a light beige, warm rather than cool, and Natural Buttons keeps exactly that tone. Since the colour comes from the harvest itself, it may differ a little from one batch to the next. Handmade coconut shell buttons add a second natural material to the set. Linen fibres run long and smooth, therefore they absorb moisture readily and keep dirt at a distance. Through the night the cloth regulates temperature, cool when the air is warm and comforting when it turns cold. Mechanical finishing softens the 175 g/m² weave and reduces creasing without taking away its character. You will find Natural Buttons, together with its sister designs, in the Geniksa bed linen collection.

Care
Linen in its natural colour tolerates 60 degrees, yet a gentler temperature helps it age more slowly. Optical brighteners have no place here: they bleach natural tones and would lighten the beige of the flax. Load the machine loosely so that the cloth can move. Keep the spin short and moderate, since residual moisture is what prevents deep creases. For a crisp result, take the iron up to its linen setting and work on the fabric while it keeps a trace of damp. Left to dry on its own, it settles into a soft, natural fold.
