Description
Shetland Bone: linen and wool in one yarn
Linen makes up 70 per cent of Shetland Bone and washed wool the remainder, yet it reads as one material rather than two. Because the fibres share a single yarn, the coverlet warms in winter and still breathes when nights turn mild. Heavy at 610 g/m², it falls in calm, generous folds. A hem of 3 cm frames the upper and lower edges, while the sides keep the selvedge as their finish. The matching cushion covers close with zips and carry the same wool loop. Shetland Bone belongs to the Libeco throws collection, alongside its two sister colours.

Care
Shetland Bone comes with a care label, and that label, rather than any rule of thumb, decides how you wash the coverlet. Light tones and wool both prefer restraint, so keep the water cool and the cycle gentle. Also avoid optical brighteners, since they bleach natural shades and would rob the creamy colour of its softness. Then lay the coverlet flat to dry, ideally on a clean surface with room to spread. Skip the tumble dryer, because over-drying can shrink the cloth.
