200x200 cotton bed linen is designed for double beds from 140 cm width. The square format lies symmetrically on the bed — no orientation needed, making it quicker to put on.
A shared 200x200 duvet creates closeness and gives the bed a tidier look during the day. Cotton sateen in white or beige across a double bed — that is the hotel look for your home.
Those who prefer separate duvets can opt for two 135x200 or 155x220 sets — individual sleeping climate per person.
For wider beds from 160 cm, the 200x220 size is recommended — 20 cm extra length for additional overhang at the foot end.

Recommended sets for a 140 cm double bed

Hotel look (symmetrical): Two 80x80 pillowcases placed side by side, leaning against the headboard — the square pillows mirror the square duvet format. Fitted sheet 140x200. Peter Reed percale in white.
Modern (flat): Two 40x80 pillowcases lying side by side. Sleek, reduced, Scandinavian. Works particularly well in muted tones — silver, ivory.
Mixed (personal): A different pillow shape per side of the bed — 80x80 on the left, 40x80 on the right. Or two shades from the same Peter Reed range. The deliberate contrast gives the bed character.
